The mountain has been a blast this week with wide open runs and a fresh park build. The weather is beautiful with mild temps in the low 60s and a refreshing Eastern breeze. Be sure to wear your sunscreen. And, if you can't get away this week, make plans now to spend your holiday weekend on the slopes. President's Day is a terrific time to visit but remember to arrive early. Tickets and lessons may be limited.
The park is recently rebuilt with new jumps on Upper and Lower Chisolm, and a fresh take on Creekside. Diversify your trick book on a multitude of new combo features including the Sponge Bob Square Rail alongside a flat box to the wall ride as a takeoff to an adjacent ledge box. Also new are the fire hydrant bonk and the Triple Sec rail. This warm weather is perfect for learning, so if you have any friends who want to get involved, now is the time.
All roads are open and clear with no restrictions.
