As Special Events Coordinator you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Evaluating current events and activities.
  • Generating partners and sponsorship funds to support events and promotions.
  • Scheduling and producing resort activities such on-hill ski & snowboard events, base area promotions, music events, vendor days, and more.
  • Conceptualizing new contests and traffic-driving promotions.
  • Working with the Marketing department to advertise and promote all activities.
  • Meet set attendance goals.
  • Providing written recaps of each event with recommendations on areas to improve.

These are the qualifications you'll need:

  • 2-3 years direct resort event experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of the snowboarding and skiing markets.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organizational awareness and high personal standards.

This is an 8 month (appx Aug to End of Season) in-house position – $18 Hourly.
