Special Events Coordinator

As Special Events Coordinator you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Evaluating current events and activities.
- Generating partners and sponsorship funds to support events and promotions.
- Scheduling and producing resort activities such on-hill ski & snowboard events, base area promotions, music events, vendor days, and more.
- Conceptualizing new contests and traffic-driving promotions.
- Working with the Marketing department to advertise and promote all activities.
- Meet set attendance goals.
- Providing written recaps of each event with recommendations on areas to improve.
These are the qualifications you'll need:
- 2-3 years direct resort event experience is required.
- Strong understanding of the snowboarding and skiing markets.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Organizational awareness and high personal standards.
This is an 8 month (appx Aug to End of Season) in-house position – $18 Hourly.
