Temperatures are hitting triple digits in Southern California, but there is a 100% chance of snow on October 3rd in Wrightwood, Calif. Be there as we truck in 60 tons of snow for the annual Buck Off Season Pass Party and Rail Jam. The event is FREE and takes place from 1pm to 5pm on Pine Ave in conjunction with the annual Jeep Rally and Chili Cook Off. Stroll through the vendor village, test your taste buds at the chili cook-off, or compete in our $5,000 Best Trick competition. The event is open to everyone but only Season Pass holders can ride the snow. See below for more information

Sell your slightly used gear or buy something new for the coming season. Last year we raised more than $2,000 for local school groups. Please do not bring any broken equipment, non-DIN-standards bindings, blacklisted bindings, or old plastic boots.

Do you have the best chili or salsa in the Southland? Show your stuff at Wrightwood’s annual Chili Contest and Salsa Making Contest. This event is held at the Community Building and parking lot, 1275 Hwy 2 (between the Banks) from 11am to 3pm. There is a beer garden, Jalapeno eating contest, raffles, and more. For a small fee attendees can sample locally made salsas and chilis, then vote for their favorite for the People’s Choice cash prize. Salsa tasting begins at 11am (until gone); Chili tasting begins at 12pm (until gone). Be part of the Cook Off!
