Just the colors alone are enough to make you wonder if there is more. And there is...A Vibe! Cali Pass holders are stoked to be on the mountain…away from the traffic, the lines, etc. They’ve chosen a place that has great ambiance, is run by real skiers and snowboarders, and is full of good terrain, deep snow, cold beer, and good times. They’ve done the other passes but prefer our way of skiing and don’t see any reason to go back. They’ve found a better way to winter.

With the new Cali Pass guests get unlimited access to California’s closest winter resorts, Mountain High, Dodge Ridge, and China Peak, plus 3 days each at 18 Powder Alliance resorts worldwide. That’s up to 54 tickets! Some restrictions apply.

Invision Capital is a Private Equity firm based out of Chicago. It’s three resorts, Mountain High, Dodge Ridge, and China Peak, are stacked south-to-north along a 300-mile stretch of the Sierra and San Gabriel Mountains. Invision is now the third entity to own three or more ski areas in California, joining Vail Resorts’ three (Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar), and Alterra Mountain Company’s five (Mammoth, June, Palisades Tahoe, Big Bear, and Snow Summit).

Said Karl Kapuscinski, President and CEO of 3 areas, “I see enormous opportunity in uniting our three areas and creating a centralized pass for regional skiers.”

The creation of the Cali Pass comes just 4 months after the purchase of China Peak from industry-veteran Tim Cohee.  “We may not be finished,” Kapuscinski said confirming he and Invision would like to add more ski areas to the portfolio.
