Risk Coordinator

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide hands-on risk assessment guidance and direction to the departments
  • Maintain resort safety programs and policies
  • Communicate to Director of Risk any safety related issues and aid in addressing them in a timely manner
  • Coordinate, support, and work closely with departmental managers with implementation of safety procedures, trainings, safety meetings and site inspections to minimize risk for employees and guests
  • Ensure WE-RIPS training is included with all department training
  • Work with Director to help maintain records and documentation as required by law and company procedures
  • Performs daily, weekly site evaluations. Conducts visual assessments of facilities, and surrounding employee and guest areas
  • Assist with the Monitoring and reviewing of all Patrol generated incident reports in the 1Risk Program, alerts Director of any potential concerns
  • Secure and maintain records according to company document retention policy
  • Assist with filing Workers’ Comp claims
  • Ensure employee incident records are properly maintained, tracked and stored

Qualifications Should Include The Following

  • Experience with Excel and Word
  • Must have excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have Intermediate - Advanced Ski/Snowboarding skills
