Mountain High West Resort - Ski & Snowboard Terrain Park

Mountain High's West Resort is filled with a seemingly endless assortment of technical trails and skillfully-designed terrain park features to satisfy the sport’s new freestyle culture.  It is the more youthful of the three areas and the site of many on-hill contests, promotions, and live performances.  It is also Southern California’s only local resort open 7 nights-a-week (check the calendar for availability). Over 85% of the West Resort is lit including the ski & snowboard terrain park and the teaching shelves so you can ride under the lights after school or work.  When finished ski up to the Bullwheel Bar & Grill where you can take a seat by the fireplace and warm up with a mouth-watering meal.

Reaching the top of the West Resort now takes less than 4 minutes on the Blue Ridge Express which provides access to all levels of terrain including mellow beginner slopes, gladed tree skiing areas, and a variety of black diamond trails.

Terrain Park

Numerous features including jumps, rails, and funboxes blanket the West Resort creating a paradise for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.  Features vary in size and shape from small, beginner-type jumps on Creekside to competitive-sized features on Chisolm.  As the sport continues to evolve, Mountain High’s professional builders are leading the way with new and original features.  Our love of terrain borders on obsession and our professional builders are constantly pushing the boundaries of conventional park design.  All features are built with safety in mind, and Mountain High heavily promotes proper resort etiquette as outlined in the Responsibility Code and Smart Style.  The park is also open most nights until 10pm (check the calendar for availability) so when the sun goes down, the party is just getting started.
