Cole - vocals

COLE CALDWELL has had a passion for music and performing since he was little. However, he didn’t pick up an instrument until he was 19! But it was at that age he knew music was to be his future. After playing and singing in a few bands in his early 20s, Cole found himself at his local bar performing his own music and karaoke. This is where Pick Up & Run started its journey. He has been a manager, a construction worker, an electrician, a plumber, a sound engineer/mixer, painter, mason and just about anything else he could get his hands on. But nothing drew more interest from him than music. During his time in the band, Cole has been married to one of his best friends from high school and they had a baby boy in early 2018. But his journey has just begun.

John - guitar

JOHN MERWIN began playing guitar when he was 16.  He started out learning Beatles songs and country songs on the acoustic.  He got his first electric guitar when he was 17 and learned how to play a variety of classic rock songs.  When he was 20 he started writing personal songs which he performed at various art shows and coffee shops. To pick up extra cash he also used to perform in Laguna Beach with a few friends as a side street performer. Throughout his 20s John worked as an EMT, a firefighter and a paramedic. And then when he was 29 he met Cole at Patsy's Irish pub and they formed Pick Up & Run.

Rene - bass

RENE HERNANDEZ grew up in Rowland Heights, surfing, skateboarding, and jamming in his garage with the neighborhood kids.  He quickly developed a love for the bass, and was inspired by Flea, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, etc. He has opened for and toured with Social Distortion.  He has also opened for The English Beat, Berlin, Agent Orange, DI, DRI, Authority Zero, Pulley, Escape the Fate, Bullets And Octane, and Donots.

Jordan - drums

JORDAN LIPP has been a drummer and enthusiast of the craft since picking up his first pair of sticks at age 12. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Jordan has spent the past 20+ years recording and touring with numerous groups in multiple genres taking him from Boston to NYC to SoCal. He has shared the stage with acts such as Bon Jovi, 30 Seconds to Mars, Nickelback, and Jimmy Buffet, amongst many others.

Jordan has met his match with Pick Up & Run, both musically, and as a group of devilishly handsome rockers whose musical talent is matched only by their somewhat questionable maturity levels.
