Arrive early at Mountain High. We recommend arriving 2 hours prior to your lesson. This will give you enough time to get through tickets, rentals, and to your lesson meeting area 15 minutes prior to start. The time you save by starting your day early will pay dividends later.  Getting ahead of traffic, finding convenient parking and short ticket & rental lines will set you and your family up for a stress-free day on the mountain.

There is plenty of parking at all three resorts. If you arrive early, you will probably park close to the lodge area. For later arrivals, convenient shuttle buses run between the East and West Resorts.  You must park at the North Resort specifically if you plan to ski, snowboard, or tube there. There are unloading zones in front of the base lodges. Please be sure to bring everything you need from your car and lock your vehicle.

The ticket windows are your first stop.  Purchase all tickets, rentals, and lessons here.  If you, or anyone in your party, is interested in our Children's Sports Center, private lessons, or other specialty programs, just ask!  Ticket windows open at 8:00am weekdays, 7:30am weekends & holidays.  Restrooms are located within each base lodge.  Lockers are generally near the Rental Departments. You will need a driver's license and credit card to rent skis or a snowboard. From the ticket windows, proceed to the rental department and then to your lesson, if necessary.

Ticket Windows

  • West Resort - Located on the West side of the base lodge facing the Blue Ridge Express.
  • East Resort - Located on the far side of the rental building facing the snow.
  • North Resort - Located on the front, left corner of the base lodge.
You will receive a lift ticket and a zip tie to attach the ticket.  Place the ticket on your pants pocket waist high.  Do not place the ticket on your jacket zipper or it will hit you in the face when you ski/snowboard.

Our resort Hosts are here to help you every step of the way. If you need any kind of assistance, simply look for their cyan jackets with "Host" on the back. We guarantee that they are just about the nicest, most helpful people you will ever meet!
