Food & Beverage Assistant Manager

This Food & Beverage Assistant Manager a Key Seasonal benefited position with paid holiday, vacation and sick time. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and is responsible for assisting in managing of up to 7 venues, including full-service casual dining, cafeteria style, bar-b-ques, and bars.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Hire, train and motivate F&B Staff
- Plan, organize and manage operations and staff of up to 7 venues resort -wide
- Handle high customer volume and flow in all venues
- Coordinate activities with other Mountain High departments for marketing and operational events to ensure the smooth functioning of the F&B operations
- Identify/solve problems or deficiencies related to department
- Oversee inventory and ensure proper inventory controls
- Maintain compliance in departmental quality, as it relates to industry-wide standards
- Ensure that employees are in compliance with cash handling and other mountain operations’ policies & procedures
QUALIFICATIONS include but are not limited to the following:
- 2-5 years successful management in industry related work
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during busy season
- Serve Safe Certificate and Food Handler’s Card for LA County is mandatory
