Beginner Snowboard Clinics For Women 30+

No previous snow sports experience expected and no ID's will be checked for proof of age!
 

Women's Beginner Clinics are the perfect way to discover the thrilling sport of snowboarding. Small classes, female instructor, individual help with equipment, and teaching tailored to women's learning styles make your first day on a snowboard hassle-free. Advantages Of A Women's Snowboard Clinic
-Meet women who share your interest and spirit of adventure.
-Female instructor in small supportive group (minimum 3 women-maximum 6 women).
-Patient and safety-conscious learning including use of chairlift.

-Your instructor provides specific pre-clinic information including appropriate clothing and simple pre-conditioning exercises.

-Plenty of time for questions during equipment fit and orientation, on mountain lesson. and lesson wrap-up.

-On-going refinement of your technique to ensure rapid improvement.

 

CLINICIAN: Ava Bise, Level II Certified Snowboard Instructor, AASI

(American Association of Snowboard Instructors)
Ava Bise has been teaching snowboarding at Mountain High since 1999. Having learned to snowboard at age 44, she is particularly sensitive to the needs of women. Ava combines an extraordinary teaching patience with her enthusiasm for snowboarding. Ava believes that every woman, regardless of age, can learn to snowboard; and that the excitement is enhanced by sharing the challenge and fun with other women. Women's Snowboard Clinic Fee is $130
Includes pre-clinic information from instructor, equipment assistance and rental, all-day lower-mountain lift ticket, effective instruction, adventure and fun.  Pack your lunch or buy it at Mountain High.

Beginner Clinic Schedule
Sundays from 7:15am to 11:00am.  Tuesdays from 8:15am to 12:00pm.

7:15am 8:15am Arrive at Mountain High to check-in at Group Sales window
7:30am to 8:30am 8:30 to 9:30am Equipment pick-up, orientation, on-board riding technique on dry land.
8:30 to 10:30am 9:30 to 11:30am On the mountain lesson - Let's ride!!!
10:30 to 11:00pm 11:30 to 12:00pm Cool down stretches.  Lesson wrap-up.
Snowboard equipment rentals and lower mountain lift ticket are valid for the rest of the day.
