Arrive early at the Resort! The time you save by starting your day early will pay dividends later. Getting ahead of traffic, finding convenient parking, short lines at the ticket windows and rental shop will set you and your family up for a stress-free and fun time at the mountain. Once you have your lift tickets, lesson coupons and equipment, take the time to familiarize yourself with the resort! You will need to be at the Winter Sports School meeting area 15 minutes prior to the lesson starting time. Classes begin on time! To ensure the uninterrupted attention of your instructor, we will not "add" students to your class after the lesson begins.

We match instructors to students, organize our classes quickly, and maintain optimum instructor / student ratios. Our average snowboard class for the season is 9 students and the average class size for skiers is 7, however your class size may vary depending on when you come. Class sizes tend to be smaller at 9am, 1pm and 2pm on weekends and holidays.

Make sure each individual in your group has their own lift ticket and lesson ticket prior to lesson time. Also rental equipment may look the same, but is set differently for each individual so don't mix them up. Always rent at the mountain. If there is a problem with the equipment, quick replacement or adjustments are readily available.

If you are a first-timer and running late, don't panic. Another lesson will assemble 15 minutes before the hour, right up till 2pm!

Discounted private lessons are available at a great savings at 8:00am and at 9:00am weekends and midweek. This is the time when we have the greatest availability of instructors.

Remember your favorite instructors full name, and ask for a card. Find out their scheduled workdays so that you may request them! Special needs or goals should be requested as well.

To optimize the value of your private lesson, DON'T MIX VASTLY DIFFERENT AGES OR ABILITIES! Doing so limits the instructor's efficiency & effectiveness and diminishes your progress! Children's beginner private lessons are more productive with only one student. The value of your investment is greater splitting them up!

A private lesson may be added to your child's day with their Children's Academy Instructor. This really imprints the techniques that they have learned. You may join the private free of charge to learn how to ski or ride with your child, how to pace the day, how to help them with the lift and where their favorite runs are!

You will need a lift ticket to participate in a private lesson....but you will NEVER WAIT IN LINE, so more of your time is spent learning.
