Few things are more romantic than snuggling up the chairlift with your special someone on a beautiful winter’s day.  And this Valentine’s Day you can do it for less at Mountain High, Southern California’s closest winter resort.  Plus the Wrightwood resort is offering a gourmet meal for couples that includes a roses, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, and much more.

Mountain High is where Southern California learns to ski & snowboard and this season guests can do it for less.  Every Tuesday through March 26th, 2013, Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood is hosting “Learn To Turn Tuesdays” with lesson packages for both children and adults at just $39.00.  That's a savings of up to 50%.  These Tuesday packages include everything a first-timer needs to get started including a lower-mountain lift ticket, ski or snowboard rentals, and a 1 hour & 45 minute lesson.  Children also receive a Progress Card so parents

Mountain High has partnered with YMCA Camp ELK to offer affordable weekend camps with instructional skiing, snowboarding, and tubing activities.   For nine weekends this winter kids can choose from either two days of skiing and snowboarding or one day of skiing and snowboarding and one day of tubing.  All weekend camps include food, nightly entertainment, lodging for Friday & Saturday, and transportation to and from Mountain High.  While on the mountain, children will learn the fundamentals of skiing and snowboarding and be monitored by one instructor and one YMCA ch
