REI Learn To Ski Snowboard

Mountain High and REI have teamed up to help you learn during January’s Learn To Ski & Snowboard Month

On Saturday, January 12th, and Sunday, January 27th, REI is bussing you up to the slopes for a full day of lessons, lunch, and fun activities.  Your lesson actually begins the Thursday before with a 90-120 minute "in-store" introduction taught by REI professionals and certified Mountain High instructors.  In-store programs begin at 7pm.

The morning of your lesson, meet at one of several REI locations listed here and board the bus for your day in the snow (Departure times vary by location).  Once at the resort you’ll be greeted by a Mountain High representative who will walk you through the rental process and help you get your gear.  Skis or snowboard, it’s your choice.  Next it's off to your lesson where you will spend an hour and 45 minutes on the snow learning everything from turning to stopping to how to board the lifts.  Lesson groups never have more than 8 to 10 people so you are always guaranteed the personalized attention you deserve. 

At noon the group breaks for a private lunch just outside the Bullwheel Bar & Grill.  Lunch consists of a deli sandwich, chips, an apple, water or juice, and dessert.  After lunch you may continue to ski/snowboard with an REI host OR take a second group lesson for just $20.  (Regularly $35)

At 4pm the REI bus leaves for home so grab your new friends and make your way to the shuttle.  Then ask yourself, “Why didn't I do this sooner?”

Price:  $165 Members.  $185 Non-Members.
