Thanks to everyone who took a walk down memory lane with us at the premiere of our newest film #WOODWORTH. Since the 1930's, Big Pines has been a meca for snow sports and pioneers like Dick Woodworth helped pave the way for the lifts, trails, and snowmaking we enjoy today. 20 tons of snow set the stage and the day began with a Burton Riglet exhibition for kids 10 and under followed by hours of shredding on three snow features including two, natural-style logs and the Podium Box. There were vendors, games, DJs, giveaways, and more. Just after dark, attendees took the short hike up to Woodworth Gulch where a surreal campsite and screening venue awaited them. The movie went off to the screams and hollers of all those who attended but, if you missed the showing, you can still see it here. Or attend anyone one of our theater showings.
