Version 3 of Mountain High’s free app for iPhone and Android is filled with enhanced tracking features and better power savings tools.  It allows users to track and share their number of runs, vertical feet conquered, maximum speed achieved, photos and videos taken, and many other metrics.  At the day’s end, the app allows users to compare their achievements to those of their friends by easily accessing the data on their smart phone or any online computer.

The beauty of the winter mountains is something to be experienced by everyone and that’s why Mountain High and Toyota have teamed up to offer FREE season passes to regional 5th Graders in the 5th Grade Pass Program.   Any 5th Grader from San Diego to Santa Barbara and as far East as Las Vegas is eligible for a FREE season pass valued at $279 anytime he or she visits Mountain High during the 2013/14 season.

The price of new gear, transportation, and lift tickets is always on the rise.  Mountain High’s Midweek 8-Hour lift ticket at $59 is still a bargain compared to places such as Whistler Blackcomb ($109 Canadian), Montana’s Big Sky ($99), or Mammoth ($99), but still enough to deter some people from hitting the slopes. While the sport can be expensive, there are plenty of ways to save money.  Here are some ideas:
