The price of new gear, transportation, and lift tickets is always on the rise.  Mountain High’s Midweek 8-Hour lift ticket at $59 is still a bargain compared to places such as Whistler Blackcomb ($109 Canadian), Montana’s Big Sky ($99), or Mammoth ($99), but still enough to deter some people from hitting the slopes. While the sport can be expensive, there are plenty of ways to save money.  Here are some ideas:
