Mountain High’s Season Pass Sale begins Labor Day weekend and this year Powder Alliance pass holders have something new to celebrate.  The Canadian resort, Whitewater, has been added to the list of Powder Alliance resorts and pass holders now receive three FREE tickets to Whitewater good all season long.

Says the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, "There is a greater than 90% chance that El Nino will continue though the winter of 2015/16, and around an 80% chance it will last into early spring."

Mountain High had a fire scare the other night but came out relatively unscathed thanks to the hard work of local firefighters and employees.  Photos show the fire starting just before 10pm and burning up through an area just off Highway 2 towards Mountain High’s North Resort, formerly known as Table Mountain.  Though the fire got close, no structures were damaged and Mountain High’s East & West Resorts were never threatened.

Just announced, Powder Alliance pass holders now ski FREE any day at Brian Head, UT.  NO RESTRICTIONS!  That’s a $162 value.  Brian Head is the highest resort in Utah with a base elevation of 9,600 feet.  It receives more than 400 annual inches of famous Utah powder annually and was the only ski/snowboard resort in the United States to be honored as a “Top 10 Getaway for Family Travelers” by the Family Travel Forum.
