Calling all snow seekers.  Recent storms have left the local mountains covered in new snow and Mountain High’s North Pole Tubing Park is now open for the holidays.  Nothing is better than enjoying family around a warm fireplace on a snowy winter day, and the North Pole Tubing Park is where Southern California does just that.  Located an hour and a half from downtown Los Angeles, the snow is easy to find at Mountain High and there is never any mountain driving.

Mountain High Resort and the Powder Alliance are proud to announce the 2014/15 Wild West Powder Quest, a visit-based sweepstakes designed to get skiers and snowboarders exploring their world and discovering the best powder stashes on the West Coast. Any participant who visits a Powder Alliance resort prior to April 30th, 2015, including Mountain High, and tracks it with their Ski Nation App will receive an entry into the Wild West Powder Quest Sweepstakes.

Southern California’s ski season is officially underway!  Mountain High is now open daily from 8:30am to 4:00pm and to start we are offering an impressive rail garden on Cruiser that consists of 8 features.  By next week the resort plans to have at least one top-to-bottom run open if not more.  The combination of cold temperatures and recent improvements have made for great snowmaking and our snowmaking crew was able to put down 12 inches of new snow for the holiday week.  It’s a special treat to be open for Thanksgiving and resort operators couldn’t be

The beauty of the winter mountains is something to be experienced by everyone and that’s why Mountain High and Toyota have teamed up to offer FREE season passes to regional 5th Graders in the 5th Grade Pass Program.   Any 5th Grader in California is eligible for a FREE season pass valued at $279 anytime he or she visits Mountain High during the 2014/15 season.

It's SNOWVEMBER!  We received our first snow of the season Saturday, November 1st.  Opening day is just around the corner and we're looking forward to an exciting winter with new terrain features, increased snowmaking, and new terrain-based teaching programs.  An official opening date hasn't been set yet but traditionally it takes place in Mid November.  The sooner the better so to receive an email notifying you of opening day, please click here.
