Childs season pass question

I have a question regarding the childs season pass.  It states that its free for 6 and under but they must be 6 until the end of 2013.  My child will be 6 until the season is over, but will turn 7 before the end of 2013.  I dont understand why he shouldnt be eligible for a free season pass, yet would still be able to get a free day ticket at the window everyday that I bring him up.  It seems like it would be much easier for everyone if I had a pass on hand for him, than to have to deal with the ticket window each time.

I think we just got our dates crossed.  Your child only needs to be 6 until Dec 31, 2012, to receive the childs rate.  See here from the season pass page

Thanks for getting back to me.  I noticed the date(2012) was changed recently, but all is good and he is all set.  See you guys this season.
