My son tried the bag jump last week for the first time because he wanted to work on doing a cork. When he came off of the jump and was rotating he almost got it around but hit the bag very quickly. The bag was level with the crest of the jump which creates a landing zone that does not mimic how most of the jumps on the mountain are set up. The landing points on most jumps are lower and farther out. Wouldn't it be better to have the bag lower at about the level of the base of the jump or somewhere in between? Just an observation.

Hello.

The Bag Jump is set up according to the regulations of the company who we've purchased it from. If you were to look at other Bag Jumps, you would notice that all of them are set up very similar if not exactly to how ours is. It's a safety/liability thing. I understand your thinking though, but I think a fall onto an airbag from higher up would risk a greater injury, and the whole point of the bag is to offer a safe way to practice arials before trying them on the snow, to lessen the chance of an injury.

Hope this info helps you understand it better! Smiley
