I am a little confused, Bear is reporting as of today 12/2/2011 they received 16" of fresh powder from this past weekends storm.

"Yesterday's storm sat over us all day yesterday and all night long too leaving a total of 14-16 inches of new snow! On top of all of that, we have been making snow around the clock. Both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit expect to open more runs for the weekend and more jibs installations are in the works. Come on up and enjoy the packed powder snow conditions." - Bear Website

While High is reporting "0 New Snow Last 7 Days"

I had a pass to MT High for the past 6 years and I do not recall Bear getting snow while High received nothing. I know you guys are blowing your pants off but it seems like bear is reporting fresh powder.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I may cry.

Well, unfortunately what you're reading is correct. We did get some natural snow flurries but nothing measurable except for the awesome amounts of snowmaking that we've been pumping out over the last few days. Basically, we were skunked and the bulk of the storm headed towards Big Bear. It is unusual for us to not receive snow at the same time, but it's all up to mother nature. Please don't cry though, we'll get 'em next time! Smiley
