I've heard everyone mentioning it and your resort has been getting worse and worse since '09. From the claim of being open seven days a week (Monday and Tuesday don't count as days of the week, right?) to the raising the prices of the season pass, you guys sure know how to bring your customers back. I'm pretty sure instead of renewing my pass next year I'm just going to head on up to Mammoth when I need to ride. Thanks Mt. High!

A multiple year season pass holder!

Wow, that's no good. Is it only the two issues you mentioned? True, we used to offer night riding 7 days-a-week but not this year and we certainly aren't "claiming" it anywhere that I can see. In fact we've led a pretty extensive campaign to let everyone know exactly what our current hours are. Please note that Snow Summit has cancelled their night riding all together. Are people talking bad about them? We still offer it Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and will continue to do so as long as it makes sense.
Regarding the pass prices, we haven't raised rates in 5+ years so it's simply a matter of time. $349 is a great deal for an entire season of riding (Pays for itself in just 6 visits). Plus you can still get it for just $299 if you act before the end of the season. That's more than $100 less than a comparable anytime season pass in Big Bear. And I can't imagine what a full, anytime season pass to Mammoth costs. Tickets are already $92. And at $4 a gallon, are you sure you want to make that drive.
Here's an email we just received this morning.
"Lookie here I had such a bomb day with ya'l today, just had
to hit you up and say THANKS...Everyone working the Chair on the East
MTN were fastasic!!!! They pushed me so hard today I'm total
workedout. 21 runs....awesome."
I'm sorry if you aren't completely stoked on the mountain this year but, if the two issues you mentioned are your main concern, Mountain High is still looking pretty good. There could be no night skiing and passes could be $400+. We're doing what we can for you this year and I'll tell you, I had one of my best powder days EVER here just a couple weeks ago. There's still a good month left in the season and the park is on fire so we hope we can raise your opinion to what it was in 09 before the end of the year. See you on the mountain.

Season Pass question

I know this isn't the place to post this but i couldn't find a forum that would let me:
I have had a season pass for the last 6 years. I love Mt. High. But this year, raising prices to 349 leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I understand inflation, bad economy, and the fact that everyone that works on the mountain needs to feed their families too, but you are effectively rewarding those last year who waited to buy their passes till spring, and penalizing the patrons who already had a pass last year from the beginning of the season. Money was tight when you started the "dual-pass" with taxes being due right then, and now I am going to be forced to pay an extra 50 bucks right as school fees are due. Textbooks aren't cheap either. I don't understand this new "discourage loyalty" mentality.
I believe you should reward those who had a season pass last year by allowing them to take advantage of the same $299 you offered in the spring. Thanks, and thanks again for putting together such a great park last year it was a great season.

Thanks for the compliments on the park. Nobody ever likes to see prices increase but it's the first time we done so in 5 years, it's still the best deal around, and we're offering some new incentives this fall that guests in the spring didn't have. Hope we'll still see you on the mountain this year. We've got a ton of great things coming like new features, a new team, new iPhone and Android app, and much more.

wakensnow, did you get a chance to hit the airbag last season? The $349 price comes with the airbag season pass as an added bonus this season
