I like East more - but most people go to West.  What's the reason? What am I missing?

I believe because West has a history of being first to open, last to close, parks, parties, etc.  And the upper intermediate to advanced terrain at East, while great for some, may be a bit to much for the general consumer.  It's a great question though.  You may want to post this in the Mountain High section where other guests can answer.
