2 points pass questions

Sometimes the gate doesn't open right away on the 1sy try, then it opens on the 2nd.  Is it possible to accidentally deduct double points in one pass through the gate?  I'm pretty sure I kept good track of my # of lifts, but my pass would not work when I was sure I had about 30 points available.  Can you have your pass checked at the ticket window to see how many points are still loaded?

I know there is a little digital read-out above the turnstyle at the gate, but it is very hard to see as you're trying to pass through in a hurry with people trying to get in behind you.

Points are deducted when the gate opens.  So, if the gate doesn't open on the first swipe, don't worry.  No points were deducted.
