Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and CA.  I bought a 6-pack to Mountain High and went yesterday (Jan 1st).  Around 3:00pm the traffic looked insane getting out.  We headed over to the West side and pulled out of the parking lot at 6:00pm and it took me almost 1.5 hrs to reach the highway.  Is this type of traffic normal everyday or just because it was a holiday?  I'm trying to get a feel for the best times to go, traffic-wise.'

Hello!  It's the holiday traffic and not just a typical day.  The least crowded days are midweek though for certain.  We look forward to seeing you on the mountain again soon.
