East closes at 3:30PM?

I was up on Wednesday (had a great time by the way, pretty empty at East, no lines) but i noticed the lifts shut down at 3:30(both Mt. High Express and the Chair up at the top).

Was that just because of the falling snow? Or do you always close at 3:30 at East?

Really, was that Wednesday?  Discovery at the top does close at 3pm to get guests moving down the hill.  But I remember waiting for a reporter Wednesday afternoon who came down the Express just after 4pm.

Long story short, no the Mountain High Express shouldn't close until 4pm or very close too.

Well, I left at 3:30 because there was a sign in front of the Mt. High Express that said it was shutting down a 3:30...

Maybe it was just a mistake, but the sign was definitely there.

Ahhhh, yes that can be misleading.  It's actually a sign denoting the closure of Discovery up top at 3:30pm so guests aren't surprised when they get up there.
