With the little amount of snow on the mountain, is there a chance there will be a closure due the deluge of rain expected over the next week?  What happened to cold La Nina?  I guess it must be El Nino in drag...

There is definitely a chance.  Fingers crossed we get some snow or cold temps at the end.
