so it says its free with purchase of season pass, i plan on buying mine that day, but my friend doesn't have all the money at the moment, so would he be able to ride the snow features for a price?

No, I'm afraid not.  We're not set up to charge for the ramp.  It's simply a benefit for new season pass holders.   And an incentive to buy early.
