Why does the mountain wait to sell season passes until fall? I am interested in purchasing a pass now and I see that other local resorts not only offer discounted passes but also allow you to begin using them now.

I enjoy the terrain at Mountain High over all So Cal Mountains, as well as the Midweek vibe at East resort. However, the overpowering "thug life/fashion show" at West that has now proliferated its way into the East has me pretty well turned off. John, we enjoyed some turns and a great discussion following the first big dumps and the forming of the new mega hits built at East. I just don't think I can do it anymore. My season pass dollars will probably be spent elsewhere next season. This will be the first time in several years that I will buy a pass or passes. Help me change my mind. don't forget the families and the old-schoolers. We are out here and our dollars our just as important. Love the hill/hate the vibe... down

Of all the years to own a season pass, this was it.  I've spoken to so many people who were bummed they didn't get one and I think you will be too if you forgo it next year.  As far as the So Cal fashion, I agree some are better than others.  But overall I think we have a very good crowd and you should never let a few bad apples ruin your experience.  No other local resort can offer the combination of fun terrain and short drive that we do and I hope we'll see you back on the mountain next year.

No answer to why you don't offer passes sooner? I might be convinced if you did...

Very simply, we like to sell our passes when interest is increasing as apposed to dwindling.  This also allows our guests to hold on to their money for a bit longer.

An argument could definitely be made for selling them early but we've run this schedule for several years now and it seems to work well.
