Smoking Restrictions at Mountain High

What is the policy regarding medical marijuana users at high?  
I understand we can't parade around with lit joints and bongs.  
But, what if I'm privately partaking in my vehicle?  Or on the mountain somewhere?

Because, there is no chance in hell I'd ever give up my pass, to some rent-a-cop that sees me smoking.
What protocol should someone like myself follow, in the event of an incident with security?
After seeing my medical recommendation, will they let me be?

We are on Forest Service land so Federal rules apply here.  Any amount of Marijuana is punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of $1,000 on the first offense.  Now, of couse, we don't want to see anyone go through that so we'll simply ask you to leave.  But that's the deal.  Please don't bring it here.
