with these big storms comin' this week, is it worth it to battle it out with the roads to make it up there during the storm?  high chance of things getting shut down due to winds/no visibility?  chance of getting stuck?

That's a good question.  It does look like there is some wind in the forecast but it seems to be mostly Southerly which doesn't affect lift operations that much.  It's the East to West winds (or vice verse) that blow across the lifts and cause the most trouble.  Roads, you will hopefully need chains or 4 wheel drive the rest of this week.  But that's just something you deal with if you want fresh powder.

With that being said, there is a crazy week ahead of us and we'll do our best to stay open but you can bet operations will be affected by the weather at some point.  Case in point today.
