Yeah you guys/gals kept saying its too warm for snow.  I thought it was about snow falling from the sky,  But a friend who have been snowboarding with you guys told me it wasn't about that.  He told me you need it cold enough to make snow.  I'm not sure if he was pulling my leg but he continues in saying that  you use a spray that sprays hot water.  I'm guessing because of the coldness the sprayed water turns into ice.  Bingo you got your snow.  Am I right or just blowing hot air? Huh   Embarrassed

LOL, yea lotta weird stuff going on in your post.

Yes, it's been too warm to make snow recently.  Needs to be 32 degrees or lower so the water can freeze.  Though it could be slightly warmer if it's really dry (low humidity).

Snowmaking guns work by blasting out a fine mist of water which freezes and falls to the ground as snow.  But we use pre-cooled water so it's more apt to freeze...not hot water.

Hope that helps.  Here's another great page that explains the snowmaking process really well.  http://www.mthigh.com/pages/snowmaking.html
