procedure for season pass

i just wanted to know a little about the season pass. now i know we can purchase it online(which is what I'm going to do). and i know you need to pick it up and the resort and have your picture taken for the pass. but i was just wondering if all of that(pick up pass and get picture taken) needs to be done on the day of or before the season begins? because i know i wont be there on the first day the mountain opens up. so the question pretty much is....is there a certain day you need to pick up your pass or can you pick it up anytime/any day as long as you've already purchased it?

Good question.  The season pass office is open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm and you are welcome to pick up your pass at any time.  Yes, things get very crowded once the season starts so we highly recommend picking it up early.  Please keep in touch with the site as well because we do offer some off-site pick up dates.  Like at Snow Jam in San Diego.
