do i half to do anything to redeem it or will it just come in the mail? is this the first year you guys are doing this?

Not the first year but it's not a completely "regular" thing either. 

Yes, the subscription will automatically come to you.  At the end of the sale we'll submit our list and they'll process all the subscriptions.
