Connecting East and West

What can we as a community do to get the Forestry to OK the development of the area between East and West so that they can be connected? Would a petition to someone fix it or is MH not ready to spend the money yet either way? I would pay double for my season pass if the mountain was all rideable!

Agreed. I would too as I'm sure a lot of us would. Honestly, I'm not sure what can be done. There's kind of moratorium on cutting trees these days and the only way that I know to get around it is to purchase a similar amount of land and trade it to the Forest Service for the piece you want. A very extensive process though. And I'm certainly no expert.
