Saturday 1/26/13 Snowboard Results
After three solid days of rain at Mountain High the weather lightened up on Saturday allowing for the contest to get underway in sunny conditions. The Open Male division was split between Park City participants and Mountain High locals. Mike Gray, from San Dimas California, took 1st for Open Male division taking home the $500 cash purse, followed by Jack Herald from Tooele, UT in second, and Jordan Gibson from Victorville, CA in third.

Taelor “Tae-Mat” Mattingly of Sandy, UT won Open Female Division and took home $300 cash purse after throwing down huge rodeos in two of her jumps. Mike Speers, Mountain High local, won the 18+ Male division, and returning Park City athlete Cody Hyman, took home the 15-17 Male division win

Winter Recon Tour - Snowboard 1/26

The Recon Tour was started by Hookit and Monster Energy and is an intelligence gathering mission to find the best up and coming athletes in the nation. We work closely with key partners to support the future of action sports and provide a better platform for the athletes. You will be competing against your fellow peers in respective age and open categories. 

We are providing you the athletes, the chance to show us your skills to be the most valuable piece of intel. Riders must compete in the age group based on the age they will be on the day of the first event (1/12/13). Riders who pre-register online compete in reverse order and receive a reduced rate. We will host raffles, giveaways and a vendor village during each event. 

Tour Stops:
1/12-13 - Round 1 - Park City Mountain Resort
1/26-27 - Round 2 - Mountain High Resort
3/2 - Finals - Mammoth Mountain Ski Area

Event Details / Requirements
Registration limited to first 100 entries in both snowboard and ski
Helmets and signed waivers are required.
Riders under 18 will require parental / guardian consent.
Amateur class fees - $30 Registration
Open Class Registration - $40 Registration

Prizes / Payout
Over $50,000 in cash and prizes is up for grabs for both ams and pros. Every competitor receives a Recon Tour swag bag and Transworld Snow subscription.
